About the Author

Paul Jackson began contributing to amateur and professional aviation journals – on both historical and current matters – while in his ‘teens. He became a full-time freelance aerospace writer and editor in 1979; joined the Jane’s All the World’s Aircraft compiling team in 1988 and was appointed its editor-in-chief in 1994. –This text refers to an alternate Hardcover edition.
